In December 2019, four bodies of Revolutionary War soldiers were found under a Ridgefield CT home!
These soldiers died in the British departure from the Danbury raid.
The CT State Historian and Archeologist emeritus presented a  a 12/18/19 press conference, followed by one in May 2020. All remain convinced that the bodies, thrown into a grave in an uncomposed manner, reflecting the hurry of war.

Dr. Nicholas Bellantoni announced a National Park Service Battlefield Protection Grant, which will involve a town-wide survey!
